Hey guys,

Been having a problem with the front left hand blinker on my FC. The globe suddenly doesn't want to stay in the hole, and despite any amount of pushing, doesn't want to stay in.

Problem is, its identical to the right hand globe, but the right hand globe has no problems, and work like its supposed to! I'm confused. Any ideas?

cheers

Josh

Does the RH globe stay in the LH socket?  That will tell you whether the problem is the socket or the globe.

FWIW the little lugs (bayonet points) on either side of the globe can break off, causing the globe not to seat properly.  Also, they're probably offset on the globe (being twin filament), so it will only go in one way.

Simplest solution is to get an FE Grin

Sounds maybe like the globe holder is rusted away if the globe is all intact.

This is a common problem as the rubber boot traps moisture in behind the socket and it rusts out
