This is a pic of the English, Scottish and Australian Bank in Rockhampton. A trio of FE FC's. I wonder if that FE with the Tillies flash belonged to the Bank Manager.

Another great pic brought to you by the National Archives of Australia. Cheesy

Alex, I reckon it's the head tellers car & the Manager has gone to lunch in his Humber.
I wonder if Tillies flash kits would have been fitted to new FE FC'S, or were they just fitted to them in the after market in order to attract a quicker sale.
Attached is a pic of a FE Station Sedan in the same colours.

Absolutely, I have a copy of a letter from Tilli Auto Accessories (Vic) to "The manager - Laffan Bros" (A country Holden Dealership) advising them of the trim kits which are available.
The letter advises that a free kit has been sent along with a promise of a visit from a rep with a finished car.
The letter advises that metro politan dealers have been keenly buying the kits and fitting them to new vehicles.

Letter is dated 7 march 1958

For those interested, I will bring all my literature and photo collection to the Nats as usual again next year.

Sheriff, It looks more like Sheath Brown (not shite) and Sandalwood Beige. I think the ute is the getaway vehicle, as if you look closely you can see the fumes rising from the breather pipe behind the off side front wheel. Wink
