my pride and joy has been sitting for 10 months. all seems fine except the brakes.  when i started it up and tried to reverse from the garage, the brakes had bound up but i was able to move it out.  went for a drive for a couple of ks but they were still tight as the car would not roll on much.  the brakes work with a fair bit of foot pressure but are still pretty tight.  any ideas where i should attack the problem first.  have had stainless cylinder inserts fitted and new rubbers a couple of years ago.  perhaps the cylinders just need freeing up, including the master cylinder?? Huh Huh cheers,  mike

Mike,

This was happening to my sedan lately. I disassembled , lubricated and adjusted the handbrake mechanism which fixed the problem. It seems that the handrake was not fully releasing. This may or may not be the problem you have.

When I park my car now I leave the handbrake off.

Hope it helps.

Cheers,

Craig.

Thanks, Craig, I'll give that a go first.  Cheers, Mike. PS It seems I've lost my photo. It was connected to starphoto.  do you know if there has been a problem there?

Mike,

Fast_Eddies photo is gone and when I checked it too is sitting on Starphoto so there must be a problem.

The other guys on Photobucket seem to be having much more success.

Cheers,

Craig.

I think starphoto is down for a couple of days doing an upgrade (as of 24th?), there was a warning on their site about it last week.
