Hi Ward,
Your car looks good, maybe a bit of rust:

Could you please supply following details:

And, on upper inner RH guard (between master brake

Rego date and number if it looks like it could be original

This will help me work out the originality of your car

Here's a photo of the plate behind the engine.

I'll have to find the other plate. I'm in Melbourne but am going to Horsham this weekend.

The car was going when stored 20 plus years ago.

This car has a quite unusual interior colour of Danube green and Dolphin Green.  Paint colours are Olinda Green body with Hialeah Green flash.
Early cars in this colour had Danube Green and Black interior whilst later ones had Danube Green and Turkish Ivory.  Only a few had this interior colour.
Only one other in my database with this combination.

Would have been quite an appealing car in its youth with the 2 tone green exterior & 2 tone green interior.

This car would be a worthwhile purchase as it is one of the last - registered mid to late Dec 1959 and about 600 vehicles from the end.
I only have a few cars with higher numbers than this one.

Wish I could find an extra couple of grand, then I'd freight it over here to WA.

Hope it goes to a worthy home.

However, if you ever feel like selling the grille badge off it, I'd be very interested.

Good luck

Interesting car, funny that it only has a drivers seatbelt, everyone else had to 'wing it'!!  Also I thought it was  trailer plug near the towbar on the bodywork, but it's a 3 point 240V plug socket!!  Lastly the car has two jacks, must have had tyre problems!!  Huh

Cheers
