G'Day Jim
I used a HK to HG light switch in Effie when I redid the wiring harness and fitted the HK fuse panel, they are completely different to the standard FC switch but are existing harness connections are very easily adapted to the new switch's. Also you use the oringal switch knob and shaft.

Hi Jim,

I have also fitted a HG switch some time ago and works well, I even fitted up the interier light to turn on and of at the switch.
I hard wired  the switch strait in using the original wiring.
And as John stated you can fitt the FE-FC switch shaft.
