The back of the FC wheel won't marry up to the HR blinker mech.

If you have an FC column, you could try changing the top bearing housing and blinker mech.suggest testing shaft and spline first thou.

Old cars and mods, someone has to be first and looks like you could be it.

Hi guys,

I have HR column in both my FC's...chose to do it to one  because it was an easy way to have the auto selector and quadrant and gate etc....the compromise was the HR steering wheel.  I can send a pic to see what you think dam-mad....the other one was like it when I bought it....with a sports steering wheel.

I too like the FC steering wheel and am investigating the modification of the FC steering wheel hub to bring it far enough up not to foul the HR blinker setup, without compromising safety..... the last thing you want in an emergency is the steering wheel to come off in your hands eh?

Why does your car have a HR column anyway....because of auto shifter, or it just happens to be there??

I guess one option is to change back to FC column

will post pic soon....

cheers.....Brad

Thanks for the pic Brad,

Nothing against your car but it looks as bad as I thought it might.

Not sure why they placed the HR colum but they ran a HR fromt end maybe they thought it was the way to go.  I think it is a early conversion.

Thanks again
