Here's a shot of my new baby.

Hilda's husband "Harvey"

Acquired the other day from the Local Tweed Heads Senior Constable.

India Ivory/Granite Grey

I'd say 8/10 all round although he needs new paint.

Has spats, original grey with oil bath and no filter.

I'm hoping Harvey n Hilda may be able to procreate, but I think Hilda is past menopause.

The plan is to take both Hilda and Harvey to nationals. Sarah wants to take one and I'll drive the other.

Numbers for Ken

FC-226-7059A
Trim 277-629
Paint 253-7700
256-7770 top

Engine is L621615 which seems to be a replacement as this car is a 1958.

Body number: 88968-B

Emu,

Looks like a really good score - is it original paint?

Certainly looks good in the photo - and most importantly very complete.

Cheers,

Craig.

Not sure about the paint Craig.

It seems to me that the India Ivory is more yellow than I have seen.

I think it may have been re-sprayed at some stage.

I am going to try to find a bit of history of the car.

Has hada couple of grand spent on motor, gear box has been re-co'd, new tyres all round, new exhaust. It was a great pick up I reckon.

Hi Emu
Well the eggs are starting to hatch at your place. I think I should pull my finger out and find myself another car.

I started holidays on friday so am going to resume the big strip down on Grace again this week.

I will find that car I am looking for sometime soon.

Be still, oh beating heart.

......and to think, I was debating whether to change the colour scheme.

Never, I tell you. Never!

Sorry Emu, I got carried away. Your new FC is identical to my first FC, that is currently being rebuilt with a 307 Chev.

It can be the evil twin to yours at the Nationals.
