I know someone else has posted a pic of this FC before, but I just found some more shots of it in action and had to share.

Tough FC.

There was also a pic of the Katsanis Kustom at the same drag meet.

I know this is an old topic but i thought you would still like some info. This is my brother in laws project that he's been doing for about 13 years. He has done nearly all the work himself including doing an engine night course to build the 350ci chev that's coupled to a turbo 400 & 9 inch diff as well as replacing the transmission tunnel to a hq size and installing the chassis kit  He is a regular at the heathcote drags and ballarat and is very competitive with quite a few trophys at home. Currently running 12.4's with a best off 12.23@111mph for the quarter, she really is a street sleeper with original paint and interior that get's regular street duty. Proud to be associated with this car, she rocks.  The katsanis built car is also a freind of his and both cars, as well as a peach coloured fe,GOA-350, were my wedding cars.

I can't work out how to put my own photos on here, but when i do, i've got some great photo's of these cars

I also know of an FC wagon custom being built with a blown 350. It's going to be a very nice cruiser. Photos soon

It was a replacement for the original one that had way to much rust to save i think.  Long time ago.
Luckily he found a reasonably good one that match colour near perfect. It was built  to race first, but i think he may repaint it soon. Original off course

But no duke's style of racing.  Very calm and collected guy is he.  You won't catch him hooning around stupidly. On the track only. That's the rule!
Cheers,  Matt.

Bit of an update on Funder.
After dropping a rod in dee's original 350 he built, another stronger 350 was dropped in but after 2 run's, Bang. Another conrod.  So a brand spanking new 383 stroker was delivered via a friend to give the girl a bigger beat.  Took it up to heathcote and ran an 11.2? @125mph.
I know it's short notice for anyone interested but were going up to heathcote tomorrow weather permitting.
More pics real soon.

Cheers Matt
