i will be attending this show
anyone want photos sent HuhHuh??

regards kiwi

It's back, and once again it will be our greatest weekend ever !  This event is often compared to the Holden Nationals in terms of the fun casual environment as well as the quality and range of Holden vehicles that compete !
This event, being held on the Friday 23rd to Sunday 25 January 2004, will once again be based in Napier with the Public Show'n'Shine being in the Centennial Hall in Latham Street.  This venue will be confirmed over the next few months.

The weekend is open to all financial members of the following clubs:

Holden Club Hawkes Bay

HSV Owners Club

Commodore Car Club

Rotorua Holden Enthusiasts Club

Tauranga Holden Enthusiasts Club

Waikato Holden Club

Early Holden Club of Auckland

If you wish to attend this great weekend that attracts around 50 vehicles, then you are most welcome to join the Holden Club Hawkes Bay as part of the Show Package.  The more the merrier, and we'll make sure you feel very welcome !

Weekend Format

Friday 23rd:  Meet for drinks and nibbles - Pete's house, 705 Matai Street, Hastings from 6pm.

Saturday:      Set-up for Public Show Centenial Hall, Latham Street, Napier(7.30-8.30)

Public Indoor Show and vehicle judging (9am-3pm)

Drinks, Dinner and Prize Giving - Taradale Club, Napier(5.30pm onwards)

Sunday:        Meet for Sunday run to Tutira. (10am start)

                    Sunday bbq (11.30 onwards)

Dis-band and make own ways home (4pm)

Unofficial dinner for those wishing to attend (6pm)

Weekend Costs

Sorry, but we are still to confirm this detail, however it will be around last events pricing of $55-60 per head.  For this price you get Friday  Night nibbles, the car show, lunch on Saturday, Dinner on Saturday Night, the vehicle run on the Sunday as well as our famous bbq lunch !  That's 2 lunches, one dinner, evening nibbles and an incredibly fun weekend for buggar all !

Craig
Your are a tease with all these events. I know its not to far to travel, its just that the FC is not water proof and can not float these days.

Please send pic's.

I also noticed you joined the WA Club while you visited Trev and the boys. How often do you get to the club meeting.

We've got a meeting on Tuesday March 9 and a run on Sunday March 14 (probably at Blacktown, TBA).  Even an old sheepshagger like you would be welcome to join us at either or both Grin

cheers

Sorry Kiwi,

Upon careful perusal of the QLD Club Bi-Laws, Its seems that sheep-shaggers are constitutionally ineligible for membership. In fact, it seems all forms of that kind of behaviour are precluded.

let me quote Bi-Law 21, subsection C, part 3:

"furthermore and hitherto all those who lie unaturally with an animal as a man lies with a woman, shall be considered unclean and their presence shall be unwelcome at all functions of the abovementioned institution...."

Sorry we are not as lenient as  RET and the brethren from the South. You had better join quick before they follow our example and close the loop hole. (so to speak)

Emu - protector of queensland's moral purity. Long live Joh!

Nice pics Kiwi.
The FC looks very tidy.
Imagine having a cool FJ as a club owned car. I bet that would cause some fights amongst the members.
Thanks for sharing.
Regards
