I have also seen nasco pull to handles very similar to the first pic with only one screw hole each end.

Huh

The handles in the first photo look like the genuine accessory.  I think the ones in the second photo belong on my mother in law's kitchen cupboards Grin

As an aside, a car that had these fitted as original factory equipment should have an RPO number of 292 on its body-plate.  These are pretty rare.  I've also just discovered that our NASCO Accessories area doesn't have any info on the pull-handles.  I'll see what I can do about that...

cheers

Yes the first ones are the originals for FE/FC but as Ret said the second look like kitchen cupboard handles. There was another type with grooves in them that matched the window winder and lock release handles.

Well
I just went and took this off my car. I guess you have answered my question and I did have my suspitions that it is only a kitchen draw handle or maybe an after market brand.

# found on the underside is P.I.C No.A.002

I have sent an email to the guy on ebay to see if he can provide me with a part number.

If you have a close look at the second photo these handles have grooves just like the window winders.

Now you really have me thinking and very intrigued. I will wait for a reply from this guy.

Ken will read this thread soon and set us all straight.

Emailed the seller and asked for part #. Here is his response.

This product was manufactured by Lenlok and sold under the NASCO name through Holden Dealerships and there agents in New South Wales (Maybe other states?) NASCO had many suppliers and they also varied state to state.

The syling matches that of the door handle and window winder, I can see no visable part number sorry. (other then a large 20)

Kiwi Maybe yours are made and supplied in this way. I must say they look good.

Jim,
The first pic you posted is the most common FE-FC pull to handle (Nasco). I have seen quite a few FE and FCs with the pull to handles in pic 2 and i believe these are Nasco as well.
Kiwi your pic is of a FB-EK pull to handle.

1st pic is FE/FC Nasco
2nd pic is FE/EK accessory sold through Motor Spares catalogue to match FE to EK handles (ie not Nasco).
3rd pic is FB/EK Nasco as Ace has said.

Many FE's & FC's had the 2nd pic handles fitted from fairly new because like a lot of products from Motor Spares, they were cheaper then Nasco and these handles actually look a lot better than the Nasco ones.

John You could be right.

The first pic was one I already had on my computer. I am off to the Valey sometime soon as I have to get a few bits and pieces for the front end of my car.

The old girl is off to the panel shop on Monday. I am finally having the subframe fixed.
