Yep.......you read that right......it's a 2.6 ratio, heavy duty (whatever that means) commodore diff out of a VB SLE. Apparently the car was built with a 308 and turbo 400, but had a 253 trimatic combo when I got it, and let me tell you, with a really sick 253 and auto 240 kmh is a snack. With something a little more powerful, like a healthy grey (this 253 was really sick) I can personally guarantee you will run out of balls or road before the speedo stops climbing. You just won't take off terribly quickly. I have been done from the lights by a 250 XB.
I realise that this isn't for everyone, but someone might be able to use it.
