This is an excellent photo.

(Going O/T about being O/T)... Lately there seems to be a bit too much trans-Tasman rivalry going on, to the point where if a thread goes on long enough, it will turn into this "who's got the least ridiculous flightless bird?" argument.  Sorry if that ruffles any feathers Grin

But to get back to the point: this is a great photo showing the very first New Zealand assembled Holden - an FE of course - coming down the line.  I don't know if you guys have seen it elsewhere, but this is a photo of a framed print of it that Dad was given by people he does charity work for, since they knew he liked old banger Holdens.  I wasn't prepared to strip the pic from the frame to scan it, hence the less-than-fabulous quality of this version here.

Enjoy!

cheers

Nothing wrong with scanning as you did , clear as a bell . Make sure you drop the hint to your dad , Christmas is coming & it would look good on the wall at your place  Grin

Hey Richard.
I have not seen that pic before.
What an awesome score for your Dad.
All that charity work can sometimes really pay off.
Here is a similar pic taken on the same day.
Regards
Alex

Smiling was a federal offence back in that era.
