can anyone identify these brackets for me....I have no idea where they belong...I hope they're not too critical...haha

Brad i think there stays for the battery tray.

Brad - they're not actually stays for the battery tray, they are the supports for the battery retaining bolts.
They bolt inside the battery tray using the bolts which hold the tray to the inner guard, and they serve the dual purpose of keeping the battery central in the tray and hold the long bolts which retain the battery.

thanks Ken,

I hadn't actually tried to "squeeze them in" yet....I've been busy with finishing touches for the FC with a view to getting it REGISTERED prior to this weekend's WA Club run to Baker's Hill.......it's always the details....eh!

I'll have a look how they fit up to the battery I have and if it works, I'll have them powder coated to match the tray....

there'll be some pics of the newly registered FC soon......
