Does anyone know of any replacement door springs
(locator spring to keep the door open) as mine decided
44 years is enough, broke and ran away.I just think they
were a little fatigued :-/

These parts are a problem.Mine also are broken and to my knowledge they didn't come as a spare part.They were part of the hinge asembly.

I purchased a hinge with good springs from Slim.

Punched out rivets carefully and also removed rivets from mine. Used the best rivets to re-assemble mine.

Works good. (They never held on a steep incline when new)
