Hi Shayne

Just so you all know the QLD FE/FC Club are having a weekend run and yes we are off to the AHD. We as in most, some of us will be there Saturday about midday and staying overnight.

I will be there without my car. One day it will get out of the garage and be driven further than 15 km. (I had better book a room). So We at the club hope to see you there.

Cheers Jim

Gday Jim,

I certainly hope to get there.  The last one I went to was about 1992, while I was still a member of the FX-FJ club.

My interest was rekindled when I went to the 25th anniversary of the club last month.

Don't know if i'll take my car, or just go to watch.  Its about a four hour drive for me, but i won't know until friday night whether i can escape work for the weekend.

Cheers, Shayne.

I made it home safely Jim.  It's been a while since I've driven an old holden on a long trip.  My four hour timeframe was based on the Rodeo, I'll need to get back into FC time- it took 5 1/4 hours.  It all works out- it used less fuel than the Rodeo!

Nice to meet you there,
Cheers, Shayne. Cool Cheesy

PS I even scored a trophy.  Out of the 2 modified FC Holdens, mine was 2nd best behind Harry's!  Good fun.
