My 19-year-old son Zac has recently purchased an FE project that he is restoring.
Not too many teens would aspire to own a 67 year old Holden as their first car.
As he is a Uni student working casual, this will be a build on a very tight budget.
We will try to do most things at home and scrounge what we need.
He's not aiming for a show car, just a stock respectable daily driver type car.
No, it will not be a patina car!!
The goal is to have it on the road by the 21st Nationals.

Unfortunately, that's not my shed space.

Regards
Alex

Zac's got good taste - that looks like a neat FE.

Cheers,

Congratulations Zac.
There’s nothing better than a ‘stock as a rock’ FE Holden.
Irrespective of whether it’s your first or last car.
Colour schemes (exterior and interior trim) are great too.
Good luck with the restoration.

Looking forward to watching this progress to completion. Appears to be in pretty good shape so hopefully not too many gremlins to work through.

For those who have been on the forum for a while, they may recall this car has been posted before when it was for sale back in 2009.

Wow, what a great car. There is going to be some great enjoyment in this resto. There is nothing better than a dad and son team in any resto. I look forward in following your progress Zac. All the best.
