Did you get your horn ring re-chromed?  I had to use Blu-Tac rather than the spring clip to retain the (original) horn button after the horn ring was rechromed.

If you can fit the button without the spring clip, don't use the spring clip.

I purchased a horn button from Rares and have issues with its fit, its way to tight and very difficult to fit. I will note that neither of my horn rings have been rechromed and its doesn't fit either.

Cheers Jim

I did take it back and swapped it, whilst a little easier to fit it is still tight and hard to get off.

Probably not a bad thing as plastic sometimes shrinks a bit.
