Hi everyone,

Planning is well underway to get the Nationals back up and running, I think we can all agree it has been way too long between events.

To that end, we would like to invite prospective attendees to assist us in our planning, to ensure we can get quotes from venues, caterers and the like that will accurately reflect the size of the event.

If you intend to be part of Broken Hill 2023, please visit https://fefcholden.club/nats2023/Register and provide your info. This will also ensure you are on the mailing list for any announcements about the event.

Thanks for your time, and we look forward to seeing you in the outback next Easter.

Everyone who responded to our Expression of Interest Survey should have received an email with information about the event today. We had nearly 80 respondents, which is fantastic.

For anyone who didn't participate in the survey, the details are as follows:

Hi,

Thank you for responding to our survey of expressions of interest in the upcoming Nationals.

We have had a great response, with prospective entrants from all over Australia. After a long five years between Nationals, we are looking forward to getting back into this great event. If you haven't organised your accommodation yet, I suggest you don't delay, and get that sorted out!

There have been some enquiries lately about the entry form. We have been waiting for confirmation of a major sponsorship deal, which we are very pleased to report has now occurred. The level of sponsorship was a significant factor in the final entry fee, which is why the form has not been made available yet. We hope to have it published and available for you before the end of November, which allows two months to return it before entries close January 31, 2023. Its availability will be publicised on the official website, the FE-FC Holden Forum, the Nats Facebook page, and of course via a direct email to everyone who responded to the survey, like yourself.

The Terms and Conditions relating to the event are available on the official website. If you have not previously attended an FE-FC Holden Nationals, I suggest you take a few moments to avail yourself of how the event is normally conducted. It probably goes without saying, but only FE and FC Holdens are eligible to be entered in the event. Participation in the event is automatically extended to members of the following clubs:

* FE-FC Holden Car Club of NSW
* FE-FC Holden Car Club of SA
* FE-FC Holden Car Club of Vic
* FE-FC Holden Car Club of Qld
* FE-FC Holden Car Club of WA
* Canberra Classic Holden Club (formerly FE-HR HOC ACT)
* Classic Holden Club of Tasmania

If you are not a financial member of one of these clubs, you will need to join one, or ensure your club has an official invitation. The following clubs have standing invitations:

* Mid North Coast FE-FC Holden Club (NSW)
* Holdens of Age (Vic)
* Lions Pride (Vic)
* Southern Sydney Early Holden Car Club (NSW)
* Holden Collectors Car Club of Victoria
* The Early Holden Car Club of Wangaratta (Vic)
* Shoalhaven Historic Vehicle Club (NSW)

If you are a member of a club not listed above, please have your club secretary drop an email to this address nats@fefcholden.org.au seeking for your club's FE and FC owning members to be able to participate.

See you next April in the Silver City!

Holden Together,

Richard Thomas

There will definitely be several groups travelling from Sydney on different schedules. As we settle on plans, we'll advertise them both here and via emails to club members.
