I picked up a gearbox and has number stamped as B114339 Can anyone tell me originally what this may have been out of.

There is some identification help in the crashbox Guide:

It'll help you work out not only what model the car came from, but the casting date too.

The gearbox number was fairly closely aligned to the engine number so would be FB gearbox.
