Slightly older than an FX/FJ so not OK to post in the for-sale section. Hoping the mods will grant me some leeway posting here in the Other Stuff For Sale, but if I have stepped over the line then please delete my post.

It's time to sell the HR Prem. I bought this car a while back with the intention of driving it around whilst at work in Queensland. Swapped it over from Club rego to full Qld rego with no issues. It did a good year or so of pooting around town, and the odd highway run. Never missed a beat. Work location changed, and I no longer need a vehicle at work. Brought the car back to NSW and put it onto full NSW rego with no issues. It's spent the last 6 months pooting around Sydney, again without drama. Had hoped my youngest daughter would like it as a first car, but no luck (the little one wants a Pontiac Firebird, complete with screaming chicken... ). Driveway is full, so the Prem has to be sold. Car is registered to May 2022. I've got rego papers going back to 2004.

The Prem looks to have been done up about 10 years ago. Paint is Silver Mink with a Grecian White roof. It's been resprayed, and has the odd chip. I've got a tin of colour-matched paint to touch it up, but have not done so yet - selling this as an honest car without prettying it up. When I bought it the rain gutters had small rust bubbles. I had these ground out before they went through the steel, and had the rood repainted. Very little rust in the car - car has been heavily fishoiled, presumably when it was done up. I replaced the front grille emblem as the old one was cracked and refitted a missing Prem badge on the guards.

Interior is Welland Red. Looks like the front and rear seats have been retrimmed when it was done up. Cargo area was not retrimmed, and has some tears on the wheel arches. I fitted a full set of new Hemco seatbelts to the car (retractable lap/sash fronts, lap rears). Hoodlining is unmarked. I fitted eight new door belts (window glass seals). Front quarter window rubbers need replacing (new ones come with the car as I have not fitted). One quarter window chrome also needs replacing - replacement one comes with the car, fit it at the same time as the quarter glass rubber. New dome lamp lens, and LED bulb. Car has new retro radio fitted, which will connect to an iPhone.

Engine is a 186 motor, with correct number for the car. Transmission was once a 2-speed Powerglide, but has been replaced with a 3-speed Trimatic. Engine and trans run beautifully - no hesitation using this as a daily driver. Brakes are drum/drum and have been looked over by Burt Brothers. Brake shoes are 70%, and I fitted new front hoses. Car has the standard single Stromberg carb but comes with a pair of cast HR X2 headers (same as LJ XU-1 headers) and a WW Stromberg carb and manifold. The headers have been tidied up and have the flange plates required. I rebuilt the WW. Recently fitted new bushings to the rear suspension (fronts and shackles). Car has a towbar and wiring plug.

Car is located in Greystanes, western Sydney. Happy to organise inspection for anyone interested. For the interstaters, I'm happy to run a FaceTime call and walk you over the car. You organise the transporter, and I'll make sure someone is here to load it on. Can equally store it here for a while if you need time to pick it up... its not a rush sale, just needs to move along.

Asking $35,000 for the vehicle (or swap for screaming chicken  ). Will see if anyone here is interested from the various early Holden forums, and if not advertise it more broadly.
