That's interesting the way they painted around the bottom.........was that an option, or a later addition do you think?

Hi Cat,
I think when the FC came out people added this paint scheme to improve the look of the car in comparison to the FC.I have seen a couple before.

Hey guys...
I just found another car with similar paint tucked in the corner of this pic, though the different colour doesn't quite go under the bootlid the same as the first one... might not even be an FE... :-/ What do you reckon...? Looks like FC fins on the back, and no trim under the back window...? I think it's a Holden...?
