1960`-70s race car. Built by brothers Barry and Arthur
(well known locally for their engineering and mech skills)
This car broke all records. It had a norman super charger and home made fuel injection system.

Original home made fuel injection system. barry swears this was all made in a fruit packing shed workshop by themselves.

This and the above pic were the original fuel injection before the blower was fitted
it was removed from the motor when the norman was fitted & modified to fit a red motor

The fuel mixture switch adapted from an oxy set
this was all pulled out of the shed today for me to photograph...complete with 30 years of dust!

g'day gary  the car was sold yonks ago with the norman still attached      barry & his son almost shed a tear every time its mentioned.barry lent me a news paper article telling the story of the cars 1st outing where it cleaned up big time knocking 10.4 secs off 6 lap record held by brother arthur  (i'll post it tomorrow)
i think it may have caused lots of paint damage to a caravan during take-off
how about posting some van pics on forum
            cheers trev

I'm blown away by the mechanicals like everyone else, but I gotta say the painted on Tilli's Victoria kit really does it for me Grin

just a small detail i left out
