Hi all,
In my past (about 20 yrs ago) I've rebuilt and worked on Trimatics but the memory has vanished so would like some info please.
I have a Trimatic out of a HQ that has a shift selector on the right side of the box and want to fit an LX Torana T bar shifter that is suited to a Trimatic with the selector on the left side.
My hazy memory tells me it is just a matter of removing the valve body and swapping the selector shaft around to exit the opposite side of the box.
Can someone tell me please if this is all that is needed.
Thanks,
Leigh
