Look forward to seeing it progress.

That is a ripper shot.
One that will be pulled out when you're Grandpa's age.
Keep the pic's rolling

Hey guys, I spent the afternoon cleaning up the interior and giving the windows a bit of a scrub.

It was cool cleaning out the glove box and pulling out some cool random things from the 50's.

The interior is in really good condition, so that was nice to see it after a bit of a tidy up.

I shall see some of you on Sunday!

Adam

Wow those boil dressings could come in handy.

You have some great history to preserve!

Great pictures Adam. Have a look at my FE wagon on Sunday as it is the same colour interior, Summit Blue and Cosmos Grey.
Make sure you bring with you the firewall ID plate numbers, the chassis number and the engine number if you can.
Looking forward to catching up.

Hey mate I've got a photo of the number in the engine bay, guessing that's the firewall ID plate? I won't be going home to check more before Sunday sorry

That interior looks in great nick, all things considered. Thankfully it seems no local wildlife found its way into the car.

You've got a great survivor there, thanks for the pics.

Hey guys. Well it's been a busy couple months and I haven't gotten too far yet, I have given her a pretty good bath however and began pulling apart the steering draglink assembly late last week, giving one door a bit of a scrub and bringing  the original color out was fun and my mates have given the chrome parts a polish. All the essential stuff ha ha. More to come soon!

Another great story in the making and thanks for sharing it with us!

When you remove the floor mats get afew extra pairs of hands to help. If it is still in half reasonable nick appearance wise it is likely to be very fragile now if not handled with care.

Hey all- I have been busy pulling the draglink assembly apart, cleaning up the inner parts and replacing worn parts with others off one I got from another fellow FE enthusiast.

I got a bit sidetracked last night and pulled the back seat out, climbed through the boot and opened the boot for its first time seeing light in 40 years. Rats & possums have had a nice home over the years so I am in process of cleaning that out at the moment.

I had the find of the day when we pulled out an old sign- used after my Grandpa and Grandma's wedding.
There is a whole lot of history behind this sign so it's something special just like I'm realizing about this whole project

The boot looks reasonable so perhaps not too many critters have stayed for long.
The sign sure is something special.
