Next Question  Huh Huh Huh

My FC has an electric wiper motor fitted and a toggle switch cable tied to the steering column to activate.

I still have the original vacuum wiper switch installed and would like to know what electric switch I can use but still keep the original wiper knob??

Is it an option to refit the vacuum wiper motor?HuhHuhHuhHuhHuh??

Thanks

Tim

Tim

There is a  Preslite accessory wiper motor that uses the original Vacuum cable wiper switch but these are hard to find

Otherwise an EK electric wiper motor switch will take the original knob as will a few others

I assume EK electric motor?
Any electric switch from EK to HR will make it work as all these rely on earth through the body to function and will fit the original knob.
Of course you can fit an original wiper motor. It's just a matter of cleaning and recoing the unit if it is faulty.

Yes, single speed EK motor.
I have a 2 speed conversion kit as per Brett's ready to go if that suits your needs.

Yes, but posting on the forum means all can read the questions and answers and everyone learns a little more.
Keeps the general chat going which is also good for the forum. Grin

It's basically as you see it in Brett's thread, it's a Commodore wiper motor with new switch
You need a complete EK wiper motor. I need the base and the 2 small arms off the back.
It comes all wired up tested & ready to go with comprehensive instructions.
Price is $125 plus postage.

Regards.   Ken
