I found some time to paint and fit the wheel cap centres.
Probably not everyones cup of tea but they look better than the faded holden ones.

Awesome day at the catalina festival again .
Some great cars.
Exciter wire snapped the narva brass spade off so had a flat battery.
New crimp lug and shes good to go.

Well long time no post.
No i didnt need another project but old girl blew the gearbox and the motor was smokey so starting replacing it all out for stuff i had put away.
Its still regoed so its took priority to get it back running .
Heres so of what i have been up to in the pics.
All drawn and cut and made by me.

Tapatalk is rotating pics and doing all kinds of weird stuff like it use too.

Last pics our tube straightner a mate designed i made it uses simple screen door rollers works awesome and bends pipe smooth too.

Couldn't help noticing your lovely Wagon petrol tank in one of those shots, the tank I'm putting in my FE Wagon looks a little rugged, not to mention holed on top
is your one from the Stainless Steel bloke that remakes them?

Pipe bender looks simple. I've got the same flaring tool. Very effective. Done my brake and fuel lines bent using dowel and vice jaws and not entirely happy with some of the tighter bends, particularly the fuel line near the tank which I all but crimped.

Its actually the original tank and it was painted 7yrs ago with the car i just cleaned the diff and tank . as its all 2K and powdercoat so comes up like new.
