....G'day All  ..  Don Loffler has done it again with a bloody ripper of a new book titled  "Holden Snapshots"...

...It's out there now for Christmas and is chock a block full of the lovely stuff that Don always does so well.  Mine came through the mail yesterday, and is full of interesting guff from FX to HR.....Cheers and Happy Christmas to all from Phil

Yes I would agree, another interesting read.
My favourite is the FC on page 117 with the lady holding the red Holden bag

I have read it from cover to cover & it's a good read.

All of Don's books are easy to absorb.

Lots of prototype pics I haven't seen before.

Was a great Christmas present, but has anyone else picked up the incorrect caption on page 99?

The panel van pictured with the men inside is clearly an FB/EK van not FC as claimed.




Some great stories and fantastic pictures.

Yes, I spoke to Don and he was devastated with the mistake. unfortunately mistakes happen, I think that one is the only major mistake though.

I am sure it was not something that was intentional. As you say mistakes happen to the best made plans.
Don's research is second to none and the wealth of info put into his books will be a great reference for anyone interested in old Holdens. (like me)
