I am looking for a copy of Australian Hot Rodding Review from June 1974. It features 'The Shark". I am the Original owner/builder of the chopped top coupe and have seen the photos of it on this forum in a sad place. However I have lost my copies and would like to have one to show the grand kids.

A mate of mine has this car owned it since about 94. He also has a magazine, I've passed on your number.

John Hughson I presume.
I have a copy of the magazine you are after and would be happy to send it to you.
Send me your address via email to custom@internode.on.net and I will send it off asap.
Would love to hear about the build of the car etc.....any pics would be great.
The shark is a custom icon and an inspiration to myself and many others.

The Shark was also featured in this Holden Special mag in around '78 (?)

It is a shame the car never appeared in any mag in colour.....the colour was a standout.

Thanks guys for the positive feedback. I wish I had caught this site while the Shark was in discussion, I may have had more response. Guess it's old stuff like me now. Anywayzzz, Alex replied saying he could pass on a copy of the mag or magazines I'm looking for. I have tried emailing him but had no response so far. Anyone know Alex and can tell me if he's still active please.

Hey John.
I have not seen any emails....sorry.
I still have the mag and still happy to send it.
As an alternative to email, you could send your details in a private message.
In the left column under my pic, there is an icon, click on this and it will take you to another page where you can send a message.

Now about those pics....do you have any?
I think a few people would be surprised to see a colour pic of the car.....it was very striking.
