Recently purchased a replacement, for my original FE ignition switch, and found packaging identification not compatible with car and it has cost a considerable sum of money extra, to install by a licensed Auto Electrician. Has any one else experienced any problems with incompatible components/packaging.

G'day John

My new accelerator pedal has a different "angle of the dangle" to the one I removed
not sure if the new one is correct angle and/or my old one was wrong for some reason
but I need to jig things around to get the replacement one to fit

The door hinge pins I got for my damaged hinge were labelled FE-FC rear
but they fit both front and rear doors

I will pass this on to Todd at Rares in Welshpool

 Cool Cool Cool

The pack I purchased was incorrectly labelled, and didn't include the correct components - although it stated it was for an FE. This is still ongoing, will keep you informed. Will be happy if it gets me to Toowoomba and back.
