I am currently in the process of building a FC Special sedan
Running 304 Injected, Auto Air and power VS Rack & Pinon Steering, Cruise Control

If it's a series 3 VS then it's a Roller engine... Meaning it has roller cam shaft and has a block that is already ground to take a stroker crank. Also 20kw more power than predecessor. Even if not I'd be going with that one as its ten years younger but either may have been worn.
I went with a VT 304 as it is a roller engine and more sort after.

You have the same welding boots as me!!

It's good to see another v8 going in. Looks like a good workshop.

Have had some progress on my project
Got the ride height right by adding 38mm lowering blocks
Test fitted 18x8 rims and 35 series tyres. Need to order new rims with 10mm more offset inward to clear the guard
Wiper motor from VS fitted and new arm made with 25mm offset to clear firewall.
Arms fitted and tested all working and clearance with arms crossover. Need to set.

Going old school on the intake with elderbroke 1350cfm throttle body.
will try and upload some updated photo's with progress
