Hey we are currently in the process of selling my grandfathers prized 1959 fc wagon, it is in fully original state, (could use a new paint but is still pretty got for a 55 yr old car) interior is pretty mint too, still on standard wheels and has a grey motor, its located over in new zealand but couldnt find much infomation on them, what would be a good price to ask for it??

A pic or two would be great to assist with the price estimate.

I offered 12K for a clean one she sold it a week later for 10K and 2 weeks later he sold it for 18K so i would think 15 to 18 ? but NZ they are rarer.. Huh

Nice car , good Wagons especially original are getting very hard to find I certainly would not sell it under $15000 and would look at higher than that , good luck

I agree, no visible signs of rust in the doors and guards, floors are solid and the trim is clean. I would be asking 15k minimum, but I'm not sure that the NZ market is as strong as OZ

thanks for the input guys, my grandfather owned it since 1963 the reason for it not rusting is he always had it garaged and also just after he brought it he doused all the inside of the panels in fisholine, can always remember dad telling me that it stunk for quite some time after, there aren't many left over here in NZ the closest thing i could find on trade me is a 1956 fe which has been restored and has had foose mags put on it and he is asking $24000 (bit steep i thought). but i pass what you guys have said on to my dad as he is in charge of selling it. once again thanks

Hey Ethan, if you could find the ID plate decals and a chassis number for my records that would be really excellent. I don't get to see many NZ wagons

Thanks.  Ken
