I reckon I've seen them not sell without the mesh for btw 10 to 25 bucks. But I would think it's an item hard to put a price on but if complete with good mesh I would think btw 30 to 70 bucks. Very much an item that would need the right buyer at the right time. But if I really needed one id pay $120 for a good one. Others may disagree.

U mean the vent that's open. Check this van I found on the internet. Do they often just have metal in.middle? I wonder what it would look like grafted into the bonnet and shortened. Nah I'm over thinking perhaps 😃

Is the car in the pic a bit rarer to have glass at the back and not in middle?

Frankie, there is a demand for complete rust free cowl vent cuts because they are very difficult to repair. you sometimes have to wait for a buyer but $100-$150 minimum is what they are worth. The vent itself is worth nothing, it's the material around it that is worth the money.

So I'm not too much of a tight ass then 😄. Frankie, even if you will run a/c, is there any advantage to getting rid of it. Like, do they whistle or anything? Or just the look u want?

Yeah Deano just the look I am going fairly custom with this car, vs door handles and running gear, one piece bumpers colour coded, no front vent windows, going to try and graft in vt mirrors in there place lol, got heaps of ideas.

Fj, my fe will be blue (I've chosen colour) with perhaps initially silvery bumpers and I thought of making my own to be more rounded or modifying the rear bumper. I saw a car in Adelaide passed that had no handles just push button remote. But there was some safety stuff built into its operation.

So much you can do as long as the pocket and time is kind to you, I have also picked colours mine will be xr6 Orange with a white roof and 3 layer orange pearl over the White the cleared, the bumpers will be orange as well but original ones, I sandblasted and etch primed the front bar today and will start soon to make it one piece.

Sounds cool. Ppl get a bit funny painting bumpers but they can go back to chrome later and half the work is done. I think a lot depends on the colour too.
