Could someone post or email me a picture of the cargo area petrol filler hump vinyl and let me know if the slit and triangle are sewn together?
I am organising a kit for the vinyl but have few details about this area.

Just while your there stinky, when you take upholstery off, can u tell if the cars were smokers cars or not really?

I'll be watching for your answer mate . I have cleaned a lot of old Holden hood linings with a shaving brush and sponge and one look at the water and you know . Haydn

I've never paid that much attention and I suspect you would see smoke damage the most on roof linings. I've never removed a customers vinyl roof lining but the velour Commodore/Falcon roof linings definitely stink of smoke.

I had an EH that belonged to a pipe smoker. One full day of gentle cleaning with a mild detergent revealed a totally different shade & a pattern.
I smoked then but I had never seen anything like that pipe smoke stain before.

It's just that the Adelaide taxi I have would have had thousands of customers and back in the 60's most might have smoked. Just interested to know another bit of useless info.
