Day 3. Let's try this sober, with my glasses on.
Left Hebel at 7.23am crossed into NSW at 7.25am. Had power so was able to brew real coffee. Love having a coffee van. Usual day. Drove all day. The land changed around us from floods to dry and Barron. Back to pine trees, then lush rolling green hills. Amazing country we live in. Pulling up for petrol and told to get off the phone. Will be back

Back again.
Stopped and checked out some antique shops in Gilgandra. The owner wasn't blowing a joint in the back office this time. At Peak Hills found a yard full of old cars. Couldn't get in, gates locked too good, and was breeding mozzies, had to make a run for it. Made it to Parkes to have a look at the dish then kept going to Forbes for the night. Stocked up on supplies at Woolworth's. Nice little town. Lucky we have ear plugs caravan park is on the highway and lots of trucks going past. Now to try some photos the right way.

Crossing over to the dark side.

Lightening Ridge

Fred raising money for the RFDS. Every time someone asks a question or tells us about a FC he hits them up for a donation. These guys took a picture as we were driving past.  So Fred stopped and hit them up.  He has about $30 so far.

something we seen on the side of the road.  They love Emus in this part of the country

Not really sure.  But he was on the side of the road too.

The cars we came across.  If you look closely you might see the bloody big mozzies that chased us away.

Freddy at Parkes

Our camp at Forbes.  He drives all day and cooks.  That's my man.

Day 4.
OMG I think its already below 20.
Why are we going to Tassie?
I am so glad we have a coffee machine on board.

Nothing mush happened on the way to Logan.  Going there tonight (Tuesday night).  My Aunty and Uncle own the pub. Had lunch at a really nice pond at Jeriderie.

Crossed over to Victoria and yep it started to rain.

Got to Logan about 4.30pm.

Fred decided he wanted it to be a Titty bar.  Photo says it all.

Day 5.  I believe its Wednesday today.
Left Logan headed for Ballarat.  Decided to stop here tonight.
Set up camp and went to check out the mall.  Decided to stock up on more jumpers and tracksuit bottoms.
Its still cold and raining.
Finally meet our first FE/FC brothers and sisters from Adelaide.  Sorry forgot names already but have photos.
Lovely people.

Ok  I have been playing on this computer long enough.  Fred is snoring beside me so going to sleep too.
will update more tomorrow.  Might have to turn off the electric blanket.  There is too much condensation inside our little home.
Night everyone
Candy and Fred zzzzzz

Day 6.
Woke and still hasn't changed.  Cold and wet.
Drove to Melbourne, went to the caravan park in Williamstown, booked in for the night.  The locals reminded me of a scene from Deliverance. When child services visited the tent next to us that was our cue to leave. Think we spent ten minutes there.  Put in next caravan park in the plotter, ended up on the water front in St Kilda surrounded by high rise buildings, no caravan park. There was a park our locals in Townsville would have been right at home.  Got lost in the city trying to find another one. Was avoiding toll roads.  Man the GPS took us down every back street it could.  We ended up at the Big 4 at Coburg.  Nice spot. Met some nice people from Ballarat and a guy from Albury with a EJ ute.  Fred cooked an awesome steak and the last of the veges.  Can't take them to Tazzie.
In bed about to watch a DVD.  I love having a TV in our little home.  To bloody cold to be out side.
Fred's out there making me a hot chocolate.  I'll plug in the electric blanket cause he will be freezing when he gets back.
Oh Did I say I also love living in a coffee van.
Night all.

Our stereo decided not to work.  So had to buy a new one.  Can't do three more weeks without music in our little home.

our camp tonight

Day 7.
Not much happened today. Drove to the Port left the car there and caught a tram to go check out Melbourne. Went for a look at the docks and in the city. Back to the boat ready to board. Four FE/FCs and a couple of hot rods.

Day 8
Wow this is going too quick. One week already gone. Finally in Tassie but. Go our wake up call on the boat this morning about 5.30am had half hour to shower and pack.
Yay off we go.
What a beautiful place. Decided to head towards the left if you are looking at the map of Tassie. Got as far as Marrawah then turned around and came back to Stanley for the night. Really nice caravan park here if anyone wants to know. When we passed through today we stopped and caught the chair lift to the top of The Nut and did the 2km walk. Amazing worth the time.
Before that thought we Had breaky at Burnie stopped and got porridge from Woolworth's. It's cold here. Also enough for a stew tonight. Found a nice little park to eat. Had lunch in Wynyard also got to look at the second hand shop. Nothing we wanted. Also had a look at the vintage car museum there. Mainly fords but worth a look too. Well that was about it. Just finishing the washing and then bed. Till tomorrow.
