Hi all, am in the process of starting a modified build, and need to find a sympathetic engineer for my build requirements.
I realise the new regs are making it harder to fit even a small v8.. But have my heart set on that nice lumpy sound of an 8..
Am located in Ballarat Vic, so anyone from Vic would be great..
Cheers guys..

Hmmm define friendly? Financially friendly or more flexible on rules?

I'd prefer the latter. It would bother me too much if the engineer was an unfriendly prick, so long as my car got engineered.

Thankfully, the bloke I'm using is friendly and sympathetic  Smiley

...we haven't discussed costs yet; fingers crossed he's financially friendly, too.

Probably more flexible on the rules, don't mind having additional chassis work, though it seems we have been pidgin holed to a 253 by literally tens of kilos. Not trying to build a street racer, dislike burn outs... Just want a nicely specked build..

Penners,

Talk to "brett_f" on the forum/send him a PM - he has been through the engineering process with his injected 304 in his FC and he is in Victoria - hopefully he can point you in the right direction.

Cheers,

Josh.  Wink
