my crankshaft has a roller bearing instead of a spigot bush, can anyone tell me what model had this and if they can be still purchased? regards jim

Jim,

The very earlies - 48s and some FJs - have a roller bearing.  The roller bearing was superseded so long ago that finding a replacement would be very difficult.

By the way, what's your engine number?  Does it have a letter prefix?

If you have the original roller bearing a replacement would not be hard to find at any bearing supply Co. Haydn
