Ok now here is a curly one, is it 48" on or off the car???

Does anyone have the eye to eye distance of reset leaves off the car?

This is the relevant page. I would think the eye to eye length would be much shorter than 48 inches off the car

Ken, you are correct, the unloaded spring length is 45 1/2" with the bend in the spring. The measurement  in the book relate to the flat spring length.

Then what is the measurement  from eye to eye of a standard spring OFF the car?

Right so I gave the guys a measurement of 48" meaning they are gunna be lowered!!!!!!
