Drum brakes going.

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a really competent mechanic in the northern suburbs of Thomastown ?
My drum brakes a starting to grind during stopping 

I'm also wanting to replace the clutch and brake reservoir to tin ones at the same time.
Please help as summer is here and I wanna go cruising with my mate who has an EH

Han,i'm sure I read here on  the forum that the threads on the tin reservoir are not always compatible with later mst cyls,if your drums need replacing!have you got good s/hand ones?just in case.You will need brake shoes as well.You picked a bad time ,that's for sure.Give me a call and i'll come around and checkem out,work out what you need,0402713418, Gaz!

Thanks for the offer but I'll need a total overall check and service too.

Can someone be kind enough to recommend a mechanic who has enthusiasm to service our old girls ??
I can't drive my FC as the front brakes are grinding but have a mate with a tow truck so distance is no worries at all. Please help .....

Since you've widened your search area, Hoppers Stoppers will do work on older cars. They are in Hoppers Crossing as the name suggests.
