Still after a pair (or even one) of these elusive suckers. If anyone has come across any recently that they wish to sell I would love to hear from you.

I'm sure I have 1 somewhere but I used fe door card moulds on my van . I am in the process of putting a flash on the sides of my VW project and noticed that the later beetle side chrome strip [the thin one] is much the same profile and can be slid on over 6# self tapping screws will get you photos tomorrow . Cheers Haydn.

As I was saying last night , I have one original ,it seems to have a mark where the bumper has been pushed against it. On my van are FE chrome strips off the door cards [shown in photo]

they are easier to fit anyway .Also have 2 chrome  offcut  strips off late VW beetle which is the same profile that can be fitted directly over 6# self tapping screws or a piece of doorcard chrome strip . Which ever suits you. Cheers .Haydn
