G'day Holden Gurus

At the 9th FE-FC Nats in Qld, I spotted an accessory that I hadn't seen before...  "VENTIES" a plastic, half-moon shaped shield that fitted over the corner of the quarter vents.  I love them and I want some...  and as long as I'm dreaming, I'll take them in green.  The owner said I might get them thru either the Vic or NSW clubs, but neither Richard or Tony knew of anyone providing after market productions.  Does anyone know where I might find some?

Cheers, Tim.

Thanks Graham, I checked out John's Rod & Custom Supplies at http://www.users.bigpond.com/hotrods.kustoms/catalogue/index.html but unfortunately amongst all the stuff they've got, there's no sign of venties.  (Sorry no pic yet Slim).  I will give them a call though, thanks for the tip.  The FC at the Nats that had the venties was a two-tone green one, (same colour scheme as mine, but heavily modified), think it was Les? from your NSW club.
Cheers, Tim.

Hi guys,
I will post a photo probably on the weekend.John doesn't call them ventee's but he can get them.Just tell him they are wind deflectors for a quarter vent window,as what they do is redirrect the air from the vent window hitting you in the face and redirrecting it to the floor.
Regards,
Graham

Nice work Mike!

Thanks for tracking down a picture of those VENTEES for us... that's exactly what I want.  When we locate a supplier, we'll let everyone know.

Much appreciated, Tim.

Hi Fellas.
have a look on the USA Ebay. You will not find any originals easily, but there are repos & NOS different brand one available. These are all over the place. I have attached a link right to something that might do.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2420047620&category=42606

Note: That fella wont ship to AUS, but it may get you in the right direction for finding a similar set.

Much appreciated Graham (& Rob),

I did contact John originally and today he let me know that his next "BREEZIES" order will take a couple of weeks to arrive.

Slim, Mike, Craig and for others interested, they are $27.50 a pair + $3.50 for interstate delivery.  Breezies come in green, blue, red, amber and stainless steel.  Phone (Melbourne/Mexico): 03 9796 2251 or email hotrods.kustom@bigpond.com

John's 'new and improved' website will be released shortly, but here's a link to the current John's Rod & Custom Supplies website:  http://www.users.bigpond.com/hotrods.kustoms/catalogue/index.html

Thanks again everyone,
Cheers, Tim.

G'day All

Thanks again everyone...

My venties/breezies arrived in the mail last week...  once I've gotten a photo of them on the car, I'll post it so Bear can see where they sit at the top part of the quartervent...  unless someone else has a photo already?

Cheers, Tim.
