That's sad news. We all feel your pain at this time and be assured that the memories will outlast the grief.

Rich, in times like this, words don't seem to mean a lot. You at least had the chance to finish the car and share some special moments with your dad which I'm sure he would have been over the moon about. Take time to grieve your loss, but also remember that special bond you both had doing the rebuild and the look on his face when you drove the car to show him. Nothing will replace your dad but each time you drive the car, his spirit will be with you and he will be smiling down from above.
Best wishes, Jim

Mate thinking of you and yours... The pain eventually goes away, but the memories live on forever...
My dad has been gone over 14 years now... Miss him like there is no tomorrow.

Best regards,
JB

Rich, I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of your dad.  Times will be tough for a while.  Take time to remember the good times you had with him and all the advice and help he gave you restoring the FC.  Take care.

Regards

Hey Rich,

That's very sad news, you and your family are in our thoughts. The hours you've spent with your Dad in recent months working together should be a comfort to you, if not today, in time. Time spent doing things together is a great gift, to give and receive.

Sincere condolences, mate.

I thoroughly agree with so many of the comments above.

I'm sure that while you will think of him many times in the future you will have especially fond memories whenever you are in, or near, your FC.

I reckon he would have been happy spending time with you and busting your chops getting the car back on the road for him.  Wink

Hi Rich.
I loved reading your posts working on the car with your father.I'm positive that he did too.
His life is now for celebrating and I know a few quiet tears when driving the FC.
There will always be that connection.
Hang in there.

Hi Rich;
As everybody has said there are no words to take away the hurt both my parents have past away I think far to early but as Pete said there is not a day that I don't think of them the memories will always stay with you and cherish the time you did have my thoughts are with you.
