Hi People,

What would an excellent condition original tar top battery for a correct period FE FC be worth ??
Wanting to sell one..I have two so don't want to be too greedy as I only have one FC

What its worth and what people are prepared to pay are two very different answers.
There was one on eBay a while ago for $1000 needless to say I don't think it sold.
A fair price would be dictated by the economic conditions or just having two people that really want one at the moment and could afford it.
As a seller you want the highest price that you can get. But as a buyer you want a bargain and pay as little as possible.
Put a starting price on it that you are happy to get for it and take it from there.

Cheers for that  Yes, I saw that one on Ebay for 1k. To me, it looked like it had its day 
Mine is way, way more in better condition than that one.

I don't know how to post pics but if anyone is keen, just PM your mobile and I'll text it to you. Considering the rarity and condition I will ask $800 OBO. I guess you will need to see its condition to consider. It has been fully furnished and is functional. I have been topping it up on the charger once a week... I can also hook the buyer with the man in Melbourne who reconditions these old tar tops.

It really finishes the engine bay nicely..
