We've been chatting about this on the rare spares chrome post but i figure some people may not have seen it, some of us are meeting up on Saturday for a bit of a get to know each other and talk about FE/FC's catchup, if anybody else wants to come along you're welcome, Jack will be there mid week so he will let us know of a suitable meeting spot, not sure what time yet either until we see what is convenient for us all.

Suggestion for suitable meeting spot - Coolangatta Bowls and Recreation Club, south end of Warner St, opposite Goodwin Park which is usually where lots of cars are on display...

The Bowls Club would, I assume, do tea and scones...      (and has a bar  Grin)

Pedro and Craig - we could meet there Sat arvo; ring me re a suitable time.

Dean - ditto but on Sunday? Give me a ring.

For Pedro and Craig - I'll be the old fart with a walking stick, hearing aid, shaky hands, faded flannel shirt (or FC T-shirt if it's warm) and a blue baseball cap with a bloody crayfish on it...   (and NO - you cant eat the cray; it's not real  Roll Eyes)

Hope this is suitable; either let me know tonight or ring me later on - we're out of here at sparrows tomorrow morning and none of us gerries travel with a bloody computer or fancy clever phones...

cheers, jack

Pedro, Jack & Dean

It was great to finally meet some other mad bastards who own and work on the great cars.

I went for a bit of a walk yesterday and I think all up there were about 5 FE FCs on on display.

Hopefully I can get in early enough for next year.

I have just arrived back home after driving for two hours through the rain. Not what I planned for my first real outing.

It would be fantastic to get a few more there next year.

Cheers

nothing wrong with XXXX Mark...

(if you need to put out a fire  Wink)

Was a very pleasant arvo (except for the weather... "Queensland; raining one day - pissing down the next..."  Roll Eyes)

Looking forward to next year; hopefully with more of us and more cars.

Cheers, jack
