Huh Morning all. Can someone tell me the mod plate process. I think I need to go an engineer for plans, do the work or have it done, have it inspected and they give me the plate and then tell the transport dept??
Also can any one tell me how to source an engineer who is familiar with this type of job - in Toowoomba, Qld.
I did find one authorised person who quoted me $1,000 for 3 belts supplied & fitted to the front seat. Is this comparable?
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi Moe't

Check this bloke out.  PRO CARE, 1 Snell Street.  This is just a few hundred meters east of the North State school.  He approved mine after I did the work and is an approved seat belt fitter.

Thanks guys, I'll investigate. Just trying to get the belts into the car properly without breaking the bank balance. Happy to do the work if it saves me a bit.   Cheers Moe`t

Are you in Toowoomba?

If so I wouldn't mind having a chat.

Cheers

Thanks Rob, I'm out of town during the week most times. Will endeavour to ring Terry. Thanks for the tip. I'll try and get a photo of the vintage aluminium van I recently acquired. The renovations are almost complete and it suits and looks a treat.    Cheers Moe`t
