Nice 1, you don't see a lot of standard sedans, let alone standard wagons ! I can see it has had a master brake cylinder recently, so looks like all that's required is a wash, charge up the battery and go What are yur plans for it? Gary

Just a little bit more than a wash, around 180 hours so far. Uploaded some more images. Repaired steering wheel and dash repainted. The biggest job was repairing the floor around the fuel tank. Reassembled brakes last weekend. Should get the fuel tank back in this week and a coat of paint underneath on the weekend. Plans are to leave it mostly original , add a sunvisor , narrow white walls and use as a daily driver.

Update on my wagon. All mechanicals sorted. Coat of paint underneath, engine bay and motor cleaned up. Working on the body now. Original plans were to leave it as is but it had numerous touch ups that didn't look too good. Target now is to have it painted and back together by Christmas.

Just realised how long it's been since I updated this post. Wagon is nearly finished, will upload some photos again when I remember how to.

Uploaded a few images. Hope this works. It's about 12 months later than my original over optimistic plans , but she's just about done now. http://s640.photobucket.com/user/coolfcwagon/library/Painted Skyline blue with India Ivory roof ( local paint shops mix ). Nothing too flash , I did it in acrylic in the shed.Still working my way around colour sanding and buffing . Just back windows to fit now, may take it a windscreen shop for these, buggered one rubber trying to get the right hand side in. Many thanks to those that have answered my questions on the forum and the vast amount of info available on here. Hopefully my next update will see it finished and rego'd.

The ol' wagon is looking a treat. It is a credit to your work. Love your shed, that must make things a bit easier. Love the spare wagons also. My Dad had 1 in those colours. Good luck with the finishing touches. Regards Alex

It's quite a journey that I'm appreciating more & more as time moves on. In my opinion, 12 months over & one buggered rubber is a great effort. it's a terrific looking wagon Ian.

Yes the wagon is coming on a treat. Great colour. Hopefully we can see it on the road early this year.

Looks very nice, love the rear inertia real mounts, lot of work in that to get the angles right. Just noticed it has no guard spears. We're these never there or have the holes been filled up by a previous owner?

Thanks for all the great comments.
Ken, I have a set of gaurd spears to put on shortly . Both front gaurds had been replaced at some stage with ones off a special with the holes welded up !
Thanks again.

That's a very tidy looking wagon. Nice light in the photos too. Good luck with rego but I don't think you will need it.
