Hi All

Has anyone have a formula for the frosting on door scratch plates, just had a set re-chromed and would like to frost them.
Oh also would anyone have an FC L/H Nasco guard mirror they would like to sell to match the R/H side, panelvan type. ( if they made one )

Thanks Andrew

Original scratch plates are S/S and the centre area would have been bead blasted i assume thats how they get the frosting.

Hi Pete
the scratch plates seemed to have a copper undertone to them under the chrome, like when you rub through paint to undercoat.
But the beadblasting centres make a lot of sense.

Thanks

Hi,
The scratch plates were actually brass

chromed then masked and bead blasted.

When I pick them up I will take you up on that offer, just hope we Don't blast through the chrome or will have to start again.
But we will never ever know if we don't give it a go. Might have to practice on some of NESes parts first.
