Hey Guys/Girls
Just a quick post… I know this has probably been discussed somewhere on here before but I thought I’d bring it up again to see what people’s opinions are and maybe get some ideas…
I’m looking at new wheels for my Sedan and am going for the Rat/Hot Rod look. So I am going to go plain black steel wheels with Bullet centre caps and chrome nuts and white wall flappers. Now the question I have what size do people recommend? I have the stock 13”s but would like to go bigger say 14”s or 15”s what are peoples experiences and if people could post some pics that would be great as well!!!
Cheers, Darren

I know 14x5.5" steel rims are reasonably easy to get with 5x108 stud pattern, go to your local NON big brand tyre shop and ask for old holden trailer rims, prices I have got so far range from $65-85 a wheel, off set is ok

So you think 14s are the way to go? I put an old set of 13s on yesterday arvo and I know it depends on what tyres have on, but there isn’t a lot of clearance to the front edge of the front guard about an inch or two. I also don’t want to loose much of the ride height by putting on bigger rims!

do the hk/t/g rims have any effect on the brake drums?? have fitted 13" mags to my car in the past and they warped the drums due to not having the same profile as original rims...

I think another thing to look into also before purchessing rims is tyre selection As for the white wall that's just painted on any tyre you like, It's just getting the odd sizes(well odd now days)
