Hi guys,

I'm chasing a set of the extended spats. This is a pic of my old FC. I had them on there but I sold them with the car. Now I'm chasing another pair for the ratrod, and possibly a second pair for another upcoming project.

If anyone has any, or knows where I can get some I'd be really greatful. Tried John's Rod and Custom (they used to sell them) but no luck. Sad

Pinky.

Hi Pink, if you don't have any luck buying a set, try Retrorods on http://www.retrorods.net.au. They make all types of spats and may be able to help you.

Aren't these Cruisin' Skirts by Paul Kelly? A few guys on the FB-EK Forum have them on their cars - you may have better luck following it up on the FB-EK site.

Paul Kelly = Croozin Skirts = fantastic product and great guy!
I think from memory he shut down the shop recently - pretty sure I still have his number somewhere, will try to ring him and see if he is still making them? or as suggested above try FB EK forum he does post over there (infrequently - he seems to get hammered for his opinions for some reason)

Paul Kelly frequents the OzRodders site also, so you may be able to chase him up there. Cool spats, I might add! P.S., O'malley/Tayz has a set on his car too...

Hey pinky
The spats in your pic are from John's Rod and Custom.
If they say they are unavailable, then the only place you will find them is on the second hand market.
Here is a pic of Paul's spats.

A nice bit of product.
I will ask Paul to come online and answer your questions about the availability of his product.
Regards

Thanks for all the fast feedback guys.

If you are talking about Paul at Smooth Customs in Brisbane, I have his mobile from when I ran into him about 3 years ago. I didn't realise it was him that made them. I'll try his number tomorrow, hopefully it hasn't changed.

Alex emailed me about your post
Going by the photo you posted, that FC sedan was originally owned by Tony Davis of Brisbane who sold it to someone in Victoria about 12 years ago The skirts were made by John, but when sold that FC had a set of my frenched headlight surrounds fitted!
My Cruzin skirts were originally made for FB and EK's but have found there way onto several FE and FC's
I have closed my shop some time ago, but still make skirts when someone wants them.

Small world Paul,

Here is a another pic from when I had it. The frenched headlights must have been removed before I bought it.

Would you be interested in making me a set of skirts?

I'm pretty sure I have your mobile number, so I'll give you a call today (Tuesday).

That's awesome Omalley, if Paul from Smooth Customs isn't able to help me out I'll definitely give you a call.
