Benchseat Floorshift

Hey everyone,

I was just wondering whats the go with fitting a benchseat to an fc that has had a 4 speed manual slotted in?

And also how hard is it to fit an EK steering column to an FC?

Regarding the seat, I have seen a notch about six inches wide and a couple of inches deep made in the front which looks spot on. Perhaps a trip to the seat trimmers is in order?

The EK column is a bolt in swap.  If you take the front seat out it can make your life much easier doing this, as it gives you a lot more room to maneuvre the column out from the firewall.

If you're planning on fitting the FC wheel to the EK column, it does shorten the column by about 3-4 inches (which I suspect is what you're after), but it means there is very little clearance between the seat and the bottom edge of the wheel for your legs!

If you want to go with Jason's suggestion above, this is what it will end up looking like (also note EK column which, ironically, I want to take back to FE)
