Hi all,

Doin the rounds on a few forums here but wondering if anyone is running a CRS V8 HR front end with front mount torana rack and has a copy of the engineer reports that came with them when they made their purchase?

Any leads appreciated and yes I have already rang the rod shop but they didn't really help.

Cheers

Thanks Glen,

Got that off the fx site.

Short story is spoke to an engineer about my build plans and he said yep all sounds good submit your F1854 form to qld transport for approval before you start so you get approval to go ahead with the modifications before you get too far into it.

Qld transport vehicle standards and modification department then responded to my submission saying it is incomplete and before approval can be given they want to see the engineers report for front subframe, steering rack and collapsible column....

 and collapsible column?

if it is a factory column mounted using the standard shear blocks, I wouldn't have thought it needed one.  you're almost there!

Yeah,

I have the report for the column so that's no dramas just the crs front end and rack they want the reports for too which is annoying as they are in engineered and licensed cars all over the country. Just a piece of paper holding me up.....

Perhaps George may be able to help, I understand he used to work for CRS and sells the same or similar front end. See the current Aust Street Rodding magazine page 68 Shop Tour article on his workshop.  Cheers  Keith
